Children’s Views

We seek feedback from children in a number of ways, including;

  • Facilitating their involvement in L.A.C reviews
  • Involving them in the service, for example, designing our new logo.
  • Plans are underway to establish a Tree House Care kids council
  • Our annual children’s survey

Here are just some of the things children and young people said about there placements with us in our recent Childrens Survey;

What do you like about living in your current placement?

“I like everything about living here”

“The carers are kind and friendly. I like my bedroom with all my special, personal belongings. I love all the animals. I am kept busy, which I like”

“I really like it and I get on with everyone”

“I have got a big room. I have got a lot of friends at my school. I get nice clothes and lots of toys”

“I know that there is always someone to talk to. They also know when something is wrong, so if I cant/feel uncomfortable with starting the talking, they will come to me”
