During lockdown – we are still working – foster carers are still caring – children need foster carers now more than ever!
In light of recent Government social distancing instructions, we have amended our recruitment and assessment processes, to ensure we can still recruit new foster carers during this difficult time. During this unprecedented period, we know many children are still in need of good foster carers and as we are all uncertain how long social distancing will remain in place, we must ensure there are enough good foster parents to meet children’s needs.
Despite not being able to visit your home, we have systems in place to ensure your fostering assessment can proceed, from your first conversation with us to Foster Panel and every step in between. Whether you have been thinking about fostering for a while or you are just thinking about it for the first time, it could be the right time for you to explore fostering with us.
